1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film has something to do with machinery or robots because of the structure and primal poses. I believe the storyline is about a man creating clones as an army of some sort only for it to backfire and become the villain in the story. 

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I believe the genres are sci-fi and action because of the machinery props.

3)Who do you think is the target audience?

I believe the target audience is more towards the older generation as the rating is 18+.


Scary Movie 2:


1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film is about inferring to classic horror films and creating some sort of parody to them because of the references shown on the poster. I believe the storyline is mainly about adults going through a serious of issues.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I believe the genres are comedy and horror because of the words horror and the rating on top of the poster.

3)Who do you think is the target audience?

I think the target audience is mainly young adults because of the references are understood by them.


Uzak:


1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film is about poverty and how the world is slowing suffering. I believe the storyline is about a man addressing his surroundings.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I believe the genre is thriller or coming of age type.

I think the target audience is between the ages of 20-40.


I'm Not Scared:


1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film is about overcoming ones fears. I believe the storyline is about a young boy facing his fears by having no choice but to go through them.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I think the genre is thriller and horror.

3)Who do you think is the target audience?

I think the target audience is young adults.



Sin City:

I think the film is about completing some sort of mission because of the attire worn by the characters. I believe the storyline is about a group of agents on a mission going through a various of obstacles along the way.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I think the genres of the film are action and crime because of the props shown such as the weapons.

3)Who do you think is the target audience?

I think the target audience is mainly for the older generation mainly late 20s.



Pirates of the Caribbean:


1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film is about an invasion of an island because of the scenery displayed on the poster. I believe the storyline is about a pirate invading an island and harassing the people of the island.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I think the genres of the film are drama and a bit of comedy.

I think the target audience is for both young and elder adults.



Bride and Prejudice:


1)What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

I think the film is a play on the classic novel by Jane Austen- Pride and Prejudice. I believe the storyline is about a meeting between a man and woman because of the position of the characters.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I think the genres for the film are romantic comedy and drama.

I think the target audience is 18+ because mainly all romantic comedies are 15-18+.



Million Dollar Baby:

I think the film is about a woman athlete hence the posture/pose of the woman and how her back muscles are prominent. I believe the storyline is an inspiration story.

2)What genre(s) do you think the film belongs to?

I believe the genres of the film are action and thriller.

I think the target audience is between 20-40.

Summer project tasks 1) Research: TV crime drama extract analysis  How To Get Away With Murder: Narrative and genre In terms of the tv crime drama genre it is mainly viewed by the older generation however because the show involves a narrative of law students it gained a lot of attraction from college/law  students across the world, which skyrocketed the viewer age.  show starts off with an introduction to a criminal law course, throughout the seasons the audience is able to identify the irony between the law class and what they have to go through in order to actually get away with murder. The Specials - Ghost Town: Blog tasks

  Background and historical contexts 1)  Why does the writer link the song to cinematic soundtracks and music hall tradition? Formed in 1977 and arguably the most influential band of the UK’s  2 Tone Ska  scene, “Ghost Town”, a skewed ska oddity, was written by Jerry Dammers, The Specials’ keyboardist and released in June 1981. It was their last song before splitting up and reforming as The Special AKA and stayed at the top of the UK charts for three weeks. It’s an odd, eerie song, nodding to pop convention and sitting wilfully outside of it.
