Sound video feedback and learner response
Video feedback/learner response
1) Type up your feedback from your teacher.
This meets the brief perfectly- the contrapuntal section created a physical, visceral reaction which largely came from the selection of images but also the sound.
Great choice of song (was the speeded sound deliberate?) and parallel section works well. Pace of editing matches the music.
2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback.

WWW-
- The images used to show the contrast were very good. It made a big reaction.
- The parallel worked very well and the pictures were changing on bet.
- Great parallel. Loved how it triggered a reaction within the audience.
- Good lyric to picture syncing.
- Good use of contrapuntal and parallel sound.
WWW- I felt like met the brief perfectly by the timing, the sound and the contrast of the images to the contrapuntal aspect.
EBI- I could've used some form of transitions to speed up the images a bit.
4) Learner response: compare your own video against your evaluation of the top three videos in the class. Whose did you think was best and why? How could you have improved your own video?
My top three videos in the class were Jibril, Viraj and Riya's.
- Jibril- I liked his because the clip fit really well with the sound.
- Viraj- I liked how smooth the editing was and how in sync they were to the sound.
- Riya- I liked how the two aspects were different yet similar in a way.
5) Finally, what have you learned about the importance of sound to film and TV through this week's work?
I have learnt that sound is an important aspect of film and TV since it helps the audience have an overview of the narrative presented infant of them.
